The cost of receiving a scalp micropigmentation depends on the amount of work that is required, the amount of hours needed and the complexity of the treatment. A rough indication of prices breaks down as follows:

This is to cover up any scars on the skin that may have appeared as a result of an operation, or a hair transplant.
- Receding hairline: £1,200 to £1,800
If you have quite a lot of hair left but the hairline has receded this enables you to create a new hairline and side profile. It blends into your existing hair to create a fresh look.
- Top of head: £1,800 to £2,500

The price of hair transplants
The two most common types of hair transplants today are follicular unit excision (FUE) and follicular unit transplantation (FUT). Both involve the removal of existing hair before it is ‘replanted’ in areas where there is a lack of hair.
While the surgery appears to be straightforward, the long term results are often less pleasing. The vast majority of transplants either lead to horrible scarring on the scalp, or the hair eventually falls out. Some companies also use automated robots to carry out the procedure. This makes it look more advanced but instead it is far more evasive and risky.
When it comes to cost you could be looking at anything between £5,000 and £10,000 or maybe more. It all depends on the clinic you visit and the number of follicles being transplanted.
How much is laser hair restoration treatment?
There seems to be a growing belief that applying laser light into hair follicles will make them grow. Similar to the use of automated robots for hair transplants, it looks advanced and professional. Unfortunately, there is no proof that low level laser light therapy (LLLT) actually works.

This includes a diminished sex drive, scalp irritation and an increased risk of prostate cancer.
