It is likely you are either using them as a part of your diet already, they are an ingredient already in your cupboard or you use them as a cooking aid.
We would like to focus on 5 specific oils which are especially good for preventing hair loss:
Coconut Oil For Dry Hair
The great thing about coconut oil is it is able to penetrate the hair shaft and then seal it which in turn prevents any further moisture being lost from it. This encourages volume in the hair and keeps it strong. Coconut oil also contains lauric acid which combats the bacteria, fungi and viruses which infect the scalp.
Apply directly to your wet hair and leave in place for an hour and then shampoo (leaving the coconut oil in place as you wash to act as a moisturiser.
Olive Oil For Hair Conditioning
Another natural oil that can prevent hair loss is from Olives. Few people know olive oil can be used in the bathroom as well as the kitchen. It moisturises and conditions the hair as it penetrates the hair shafts.
Massage warm olive oil into your scalp and leave for about an hour. Wash with a mild shampoo being careful not to strip away the oil.
Almond Oil is Nutrient Dense
Almond Oil is rich in all of those nutrients which are good for the hair and the body: vitamin E, D, monounsaturated fatty acids, proteins, potassium and zinc. The presence of calcium and magnesium moisturises the hair and so, in preventing it from drying, also reduces hair loss. It has been known to soften, strengthen and smooth out hair.
Warm a little of the oil and rub gently into the scalp. Let it remain on the scalp as long as possible before using a mild shampoo.
Castor Oil For A Clean Scalp
Castor oil is a great natural oil to prevent hair loss. The anti-bacterial and anti-fungus properties in castor oil can protect hair against scalp infections. Castor oil also contains ricinoleic acid which enhances the circulation of blood to the scalp and hence improves hair growth.
